Services

Ms Ranjit Sandhu offers a wide range of ophthalmic services tailored to meet each patient’s unique needs. Our comprehensive eye care solutions are designed to provide optimal visual outcomes and improve the quality of life for our patients.

What We Offer

Our cataract surgery includes using multifocal or premium lens implants to correct various vision impairments such as astigmatism, presbyopia, short sight, and long sight. These advanced lens options aim to provide patients with spectacle-free near and distance vision, enhancing their overall quality of life.

We offer several treatment options for inflammatory eye disorders, specifically uveitis. These include eye drops, intravitreal Dexamethasone implants (Ozurdex 700mcg), intravitreal Fluocinolone implants (Iluvien 190mcg), and immunosuppression with systemic immunomodulatory drugs. These treatments are designed to manage and reduce inflammation effectively.

In addressing age-related macular degeneration (AMD), we provide both dry and wet AMD treatments. Dry AMD is treated with photobiomodulation therapy (PBM) using the Valeda Light Delivery System (LDS) for drusen, and anti-VEGF injections of Syfovre (Pegcetacoplan) for geographic atrophy, which is coming soon. For wet AMD, we utilise anti-VEGF intravitreal injections of Vabysmo (Faricimab), Eylea (Aflibercept), Lucentis (Ranibizumab), and Avastin (Bevacizumab) to slow the progression of the disease and preserve vision.

Retinal vein occlusion treatments involve the use of anti-VEGF injections, such as Eylea (Aflibercept) and Lucentis (Ranibizumab), along with intravitreal Dexamethasone implants (Ozurdex 700mcg) to reduce macular oedema and improve vision outcomes.

For diabetic eye disease, we offer comprehensive management for both diabetic macular oedema and proliferative diabetic retinopathy. Treatments include anti-VEGF intravitreal injections of Vabysmo (Faricimab), Eylea (Aflibercept), Lucentis (Ranibizumab), and Avastin (Bevacizumab), as well as intravitreal Fluocinolone implants (Iluvien 190mcg) and focal or grid macular laser treatments. Pan-retinal laser photocoagulation (PRP) is also used to treat proliferative diabetic retinopathy.

Our laser treatments cover a variety of eye conditions, including YAG laser capsulotomy for posterior capsular opacification, pan-retinal photocoagulation for diabetic retinopathy, focal or grid laser for diabetic macular oedema, laser retinopexy for retinal tears, and peripheral iridotomy for narrow angles.

For minor procedures, we provide removal services for chalazion (meibomian cyst), styes, skin tags, warts around the eyes, and cyst removal. Our blepharitis and dry eye treatments include personalised care plans and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy for meibomian gland dysfunction.

We offer anti-glaucoma medications and YAG laser iridotomy for narrow angles in treating glaucoma.

Our general ophthalmology services include emergency eye conditions, which address common eye issues such as red eyes, gritty or painful eyes, blurred vision, sticky eyes, flashes, floaters, and posterior vitreous detachment (PVD).
