Our Experience
Ms Ranjit Sandhu is an experienced cataract surgeon who will help you with your personalised care to choose the right option for you, whether it is freedom from glasses to correct your long or shortsightedness with astigmatism or to improve your vision following cataract surgery with premium lens implants.
She has expertise in complex cataracts that require precision in care prior to, during and after cataract surgery, especially for cataracts in people with diabetes and inflammatory eye disease called uveitis. This requires careful monitoring for optimal visual results.
Her research and specialist interest in medical retina means she has a vast range of experience in treating retinal conditions such as age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusions, central serous chorioretinopathy and uveitis. She is skilled in the use of immunomodulatory therapies for the treatment of inflammatory eye disease or uveitis.
Our age-related macular degeneration service offers intravitreal injections to treat wet macular degeneration in a fast-track, one-stop service. We are the first clinic in the UK to offer novel treatments for dry macular degeneration.
Ms Ranjit Sandhu offers laser treatments, including YAG laser capsulotomy, pan-retinal photocoagulation for diabetic retinopathy, and laser retinopexy for retinal tears.
Ms Ranjit Sandhu offers the latest eye injections, including Vabysmo, Eylea, Lucentis, Avastin, Ozurdex and Illuvien, to treat various retinal conditions.
We offer medical treatment for glaucoma that includes the latest advancements in controlling glaucoma, including laser treatment.
